Thank you for helping to sell our home in one week.  I would like to relate a little story about our realtor selection process and the results.

We interviewed two realtors – you and a seasoned professional from another well respected real estate firm.  On your initial visit to our home, you took your time to familiarize yourself with our home & the upgrades and improvements that we have made.  You asked detailed questions, and left with a good knowledge of our home.  You did your homework and returned two days later with a marketing plan & proposed listing price.  The other realtor showed up for his initial visit with a suggested listing price in hand before he event walked through the house.  He had prepared his suggestion solely based on “comps” which did not take into consideration the upgrades and the appeal of the neighborhood.  You presented a marketing plan that reflected the position of our home in the market, the appeal of the Cul-de-Sac location, the culture of the potential buyers and the use of today’s technology.  The other realtor simply planned to list our house in the Plain Dealer & a “Homes for Sale” grocery store book.

Thanks bill for taking the extra time to market our home for the quick sale at a good price.  The other realtor suggested a price that was considerable less than you did.  Our finally selling process was more than $10,000 over his suggested list price, and $30000 more than what we felt we would actually sell it for.  We did not select you because your suggested listing price was higher.  We selected you because you did your homework, and had a well thought out plan.  I have no doubt that we would have sold our house if had gone wit the other realtor, but would have left a lot of money on the table.

Also, thanks for all of your after-the-sale service.  We had very short time between the sale and closing to complete a lot of tasks.  This was compounded by our two week vacation that left you to handle things for us in our absence.  Everything went smoothly and you kept us updated.  We could not have done it without you.

If we had to do it over again, we would select Bill Reilly as our real estate partner.
